Cover FX Shade Finder

As you know, I’m a Cover FX Brand Ambassador. What you may not know is that Cover FX has a Shade Finder tool, which is pretty cool. This makes it easy to determine what shade you wear in the Cover FX line. I wanted to tell you a little about it.

The shade finder tool will ask your preference for formula – cream, liquid, powder, or no preference.
It will ask about your desired coverage level – the no makeup look, less coverage, or more coverage.
It will suggest products for you to choose between.
It will ask you your skin’s undertone – pink, neutral or golden. You can flip through options to see different skintones.
then it will ask you to choose the depth – light medium, medium-deep and deep.

Then it will give you the results with your ideal match in a product and a concealer.

For me, it gives me CC Cream in N Light and the cream concealer in N X-Light.

Since you know I love the CC Cream, this is perfect! To lighten the CC cream to match my skin, I either mix in a white foundation or the N X-Light concealer. The easiest way to do this is by dotting the CC Cream and Concealer around my face and then bounce a damp beauty blender or makeup sponge to blend it out.
