Natural Skincare Update

This post is long overdue (really any post on here is long overdue, but we'll let that slide for now) and I'm partly nervous but mostly excited to share it. Back in April I made a post about my new natural skincare collection, and after two and a half months of using natural products I'd like to share the results!
Firstly, as well as the products listed in that post I purchased a couple of things from Lush: their 'Angels on Bare Face' facial wash, their 'Imperialis' bronzer, and one of their legendary sugar lip scrubs in the bubblegum flavour.

To me these sum up the trifecta of products on offer at Lush: the reassuringly bland, the confidently earthy, and the pure glee. I bought the face wash for those mornings when I don't have time to mix my oils and want something quick, and the moisturiser was a result of me finishing my remaining ones and in want of something more natural. Using the oils as moisturiser isn't really an option with my skin as it doesn't soak it up well. Both of these products are absolutely lovely, particularly the moisturiser. I was put off by the price initially, but it is quite runny meaning you need very little to cover your face, and of course that it will last longer! The lip scrub is fabulously simple and tastes divine (yes, it is made of sugar and thus completely edible) and I've been using it once or twice daily before lip balm to keep my chronically dry lips in order. There is an issue of time sensitivity with Lush products, which encourages me to use them religiously to avoid waste.

As you can see, my skin is much clearer now! Yay! I am admittedly using my figure to cover up a gorgeous breakout of cystic acne which has even caused a lymph gland in my neck to swell up, but that's unrelated to my skincare regime – a product of my erratic body chemistry, unfortunately. I'm really pleased with the results thus far and I love that I can wash my face without the horrible tightness that used to follow. I've definitely been converted to natural products! Oh, the irony that the fewer ingredients they have, the more they cost ...
