The Modern Leather Strap Hanger

I was visiting with Niki from My Scandinavian Home recently and totally crushing on the gorgeous and modern leather strap hanger that she had in her home. I was so happy to learn that it came from the very talented Stockholm based designer, Mathilda Clahr, who produces these handmade Straps from organic vegetable tanned leather in Sweden. Mathilda is a design student and I see such talent in her. It is so exciting to imagine what this very talented girl is going to do if this is where she starts!

The straps come in three different colors, nude as shown, or black and brown. They are super easy to install and can be used in countless ways around the house and office. I thought about hanging my by my desk like this, and then I thought about hanging them in the entry for scarves or the kitchen for a tea towel or in the boys’ room… but I kind of love one right here in my living room holding my latest magazine issue.
