A Pink and Black Interior Style Board

I promised myself that I would not go through the house and purge before leaving Denmark. We are keeping our house here and friends are looking after it, so it makes sense to leave it as it is. Right? Well, that is what I said, but it is definitely not what I am doing. Like a ferocious storm, I have been tearing through the house and mercilessly cleaning and purging every inch. A few months ago I was somewhat tempted to say that perhaps a little more is okay and now I defiantly shouting, with fists raised high in a Braveheart Warrior Fashion, “Less is More! All hail Simple Living!” I am blaming the transitional emotions related to leaving my house for six months and this bizarre need to have it ready… for what I do not know, but whatever it is, I will be ready for it.

These are just a few objects that are definitely not going anywhere. I’m still on my pink and black interior kick, but now I am adding in a bit more wood to the mix as well. I like creating photos like these because they give me a nice creative mood board that acts as a jumping off point for other projects as well.

These things sum up my kitchen at the moment and I really like it. Sniff. I’m going to miss my kitchen. Aaand… moving on. Actually, I have tweaked quite a bit even from these last kitchen photos, so perhaps it is time for a little update on that?

What colors are you currently digging?
