White + Green in Historical Charleston

To say that we are going to miss Charleston would be a gross understatement. We came here to celebrate our 1st anniversary over 14 years ago and have been wildly infatuated with this city ever since. Our first visit was filled with historical home tours and lots of shopping, but this trip was focused more on simply meandering through the streets with the camera in hand with no agenda except to capture as much beauty as possible in three days time. I think we have just about worn holes in our shoes with so much walking but we could to be more thankful for the opportunity to spend a few sweet days in this gorgeous town.

I am a complete sucker for Historical Charleston and all of it’s Southern charm. I love that many of the buildings have been preserved in a modern world that is so quick to tear down. In many ways it reminds me of Europe with quaint little tree lined streets and a far reaching historical tale to enjoy everywhere one looks.

I will have many, many more photos to share in these coming weeks, but these are a quick little taste of some of the white green that caught my eye in Historical Charleston…

What do you do when you travel to a new city? Do you go with an agenda or do you prefer to find what comes your way?
