Budget Friendly Kitchen Makeover In the Temporary House :: The Before

Today we hope to start a new little series here on Flying House that we hope you will enjoy. We have always put a focus on sharing beauty with you every day and we hope through these little video diaries you will find some great tips and tricks for creating beautiful spaces on a budget within your own home. We started videoing these little clips on the fly, more just for our family, so they are not highly professional, but we hope you will find them to be fun, a little silly at times, and a encouraging to those of you, like ourselves, that are decorating on a budget and/or in a rental where you cannot make big structural changes, but still want a beautiful place to call home.

With permission from our friends, who generously opened their furnished rental home up to us for the last few months, we dove in with our mini makeover in the kitchen first. These before shots were taken when we first moved in. This place has lots of potential and a lot of roosters, too!
