Where did July go?!

Okay, seriously, July could not have been more on-the-go! I have an 11-month position, so there’s been lots of trips (Ohio and Maine) and visitors lately. I totally fell off the blogging bandwagon. Alas, here’s some pictures!

Some highlights:

Kayaking in Ohio in my uncle’s hand-made kayaks. Swoon.

Reading really stupid smutty novels purchased from Target in Ohio.

Visiting Wittenberg (my alma mater) with my good friends from college.

Boating in Ohio over the fourth of July weekend with my sister and parents. Ironically, Ohio was chillier than Vermont that weekend….

My lovely friend Liza came to visit during a break from her med school studies down in North Carolina and we essentially went on a swimming hole tour of Vermont –> favorites include Warren Falls and Bristol Falls.

I also finally made it out to Bread & Puppet with Ashley and her baby Finn. So weird, yet so fun!

I’m cutting this short because I’m flying to London TODAY, truly T-5 hours. I’ll be there for two weeks helping out a professor on a theatre course. From there I’m staying after to see my friend Eric (we taught in Japan together!) in Ireland for five days, then visit my friend Lisa (she quit her job/life in NYC to up and go to Italy!) in Sicily for another five days. My yurt romance ended so I can’t think of a better way to move on. Weee! I’ll try to pop-in for little updates while in Europe:)
