Tropic Heat

Happy Thursday! The sun is shining and the warmth is back and I’m one happy girl. One thing I love more than wearing prints is mixing prints and here, I left the color palette similar to make it all work together. I love the simplicity of these shoes and I’m excited to wear them with something clean and modern. I tend to dress for where rather than who and my environment is always a factor when I put outfits together. They say New Orleans is the northern most tropical city and this outfit has a few hints of that. I’ll be back to NYC next week for a few events and possibly LA so I’m taking as many photos down here as possible because I just love the architecture. It’s a character in itself with the rugged wear and tear that somehow only makes everything look more beautiful. I’m convinced there’s a building to match every outfit under the rainbow here and I’m happy to volunteer to test out that theory.
