Fall Moisture Magnet

Happy Tuesday! Stepping up your daily dose of moisture is probably the most important thing you can do for your skin in the fall. The damage of the sun has left its mark and the air starts to get dry and it starts to get really hard to keep the whole body soft and silky. I’ve talked a lot about combating dry skin when it comes to facial skin care and my experimentation with different products but it’s also important for me to not neglect everything else. It’s the biggest organ we have and it shows the first signs of aging and the best way to combat that is to stay quenched. I spoke to Olay about this recently, because who better to know then a brand I’ve practically grown up with, and they talked a lot about their Ultra Moisture bars in particular. Surprised, I was, because body wash has had such a moment but the bar actually has 10x more moisturizers than regular soap and the same ingredients as the body wash and lotion (who knew?). It also might be that I’m loving the tradition of having a pretty bar of soap on a pretty dish that you can actually feel good about using on your skin. Maybe it’s all the time I’ve spent in the countryside of France recently where it’s back to basics and focusing on things that look and feel good. Maybe that’s the secret to why French women just look so good? And how pretty is this bathroom?

Enough of my French country dreams and on to a giveaway! I’ve partnered with Olay today to spread the message of making the switch from the Dove bar to the Olay Ultra Moisture bar. You can tweet “I pledge to #maketheswitch to @OlayUS Ultra Moisture bar” and be entered for a chance to win an Olay body gift bag, which pretty much will keep your shower set for the winter. Hope you guys can enter! It runs until October 31st and then I’ll pick a few winners. There’s also a coupon code to get a discounted bar here. Not a bad way to start off the week! Good luck!!

I still have some great content from my trip that I’ll be posting soon as well! Can’t wait to share more of my thoughts on Provence and Paris. xx

xo,
SG
