JulieG Cruise Time Collection

Disclaimer: Press samples. See bottom.

Confession: I don’t think I could ever take a cruise.

I have some serious transportation issues – I need Xanax to fly and I grip the “Oh sh!t” bar while tapping my imaginary brake when certain people in my life drive.

So naturally, the idea of being on a boat in the middle of the ocean…the idea of a storm coming and the rocking…well. I don’t like the idea of it! Plus, norovirus. *shudder*

So now that you know I’m no fun, the good news is, I can still have my “cruise” with the new JulieG “Cruise Time” nail polish collection for spring/summer!

I LOVE the pops of color in this collection.

Miami Beach:

Miami Beach is a pretty red pink. Muy caliente! I’ve already used this twice. Funny, because I wasn’t keen on Barielle Take Me Shopping, which is similar, but a bit brighter. Maybe the muted is what I like about this creme? I don’t know but it was opaque in one coat. I did two for good measure.

Rio de Janiero:

Rio de Janiero is a pretty – dare I say it?! – radiant orchid shade! We all know this is such a hot color right now, so I’m happy to see Jesse’s Girl on point with the trends! Formula on this one was great, and I used two coats

Santorini:

Santorini is a beautiful, beautiful sky blue with subtle white shimmer. Santorini is hands down my favorite from this collection, by far! I LOVE how it pops against my skin! It’s like a Cinderella blue! Shown here in two coats.

Canary Islands:

Canary Islands is a beautiful bright yellow – canary yellow? haha. This formula was a little thicker than the others. It was opaque in two coats, but at bit more finicky.

Tahiti:

Tahiti is a a beautiful bright mint green with a green shimmer! Can you see it?! Shown here in two coats. The color reminds me of Trident Spearmint gum. My mom used to carry that stuff in her purse, and I can still remember how her purse smelled when I was a kid, and how much I wanted a piece of gum, all the time! For sentimental purposes, and because it’s stunning, this is another favorite of mine!

Old San Juan:

Old San Juan is a beautiful orange. I like that this feels soft to me, but is such a pop on my fingers! Orange is another on-trend shade right now. This was opaque in two coats.

Cruise Time should be hitting Rite Aid shelves any day now! It’s also already available on the Jesse’s Girl website here, and retails for $3.99 a piece.

I love this collection, I think it does spring and summer justice. The only formula that was off was Canary Islands, which was a bit thicker than the others.

And one more photo of them all, because I think they look so pretty together!

What do you think of the Cruise Time Collection?! Which polish do you like most?! I’d love to hear your thoughts!
