Nail Vinyls have changed my nail art life!

Disclaimer: Purchased by me and press sample. See bottom.

I have tried striping tape about as many times (a dozen or more!) as I’ve tried sushi and the results are the same: I don’t like it.

But when I discovered vinyl stencils and decals in July, it completely changed my nail art game.

Offering these types of products is what Nail Vinyls, launched in November 2013, is all about!

I chatted with Linda, owner of Nail Vinyls, at the Sparkle & Wine indie event held during Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas last month, about her brand, and how she got started.

She said it all started when she saw chevron nail art; she decided to create a chevron stencil using a plotting machine.

An aesthetic educator in North Carolina, Linda worked on Nail Vinyls from 8 a.m. Sunday until 8 p.m. Monday while working her full time job, but was able to focus on Nail Vinyls and quit her job after they became incredibly popular earlier this year!

Linda now uses four plotters to make the vinyls, and said, “I try to make shapes you can use to create other things.”

Without further ado, here’s a look at some of my recent Nail Vinyls nail art!

Sorry for the blurry pic! It’s a cell phone image that’s super magnified. But it shows off how well the lightening bolt stencil works!

My Fourth of July mani was so cool, because of the Starburst Nail Vinyls I used!

Chevron Nail Vinyls made this mani work. I received so many compliments on this! I’m not talented enough to do this so straight without Nail Vinyls!

Nail Vinyls work great with gel polish, too! I used chevron minis Nail Vinyls on my middle and ring fingers, and in a different direction on my thumb.

I find these super easy to use. I usually peel them off, adhere them to the back of my hand to take off a little of the adhesion, pull them off, then stick them on the nail. I use a pair of fine-pointed tweezers for placement and removal.

Nail Vinyls can be purchased here and they vary in price based on quantity you want.

Have you tried these? I’d love to hear what you think about Nail Vinyls!

Disclaimer: I received some of the Nail Vinyls used in this post in a gift bag at an event, from the PR Firm/Manufacturer, and I purchased some. Please visit my Disclosure tab for more information on how BeautyJudy.com keeps it real!
