With the launch of its new Color Statement Nail Lacquer line, Milani Cosmetics also introduced a new Quick Dry Top Coat!

I’m a HUGE fan of the quick dry top coat, and I’ve tried a ton.

Here’s what I look for in a quick dry top coat:

  • Actually dries fast!
  • Doesn’t pull at the tips
  • Stays glossy
  • Doesn’t thicken over time in bottle
  • Chip-resistant

My needs are simple, right?! Ok, well, maybe not but – how does this stack up?!

It hits all my must-haves for a quick dry top coat, for sure. Here it is in a nail art look I did a few weeks ago:

This top coat doesn’t pull at the tips, it dries comparable to other popular quick dry top coats like Seche Vite and Glisten & Glow HKGirl.

It stays glossy – so important! When I wore this with manis for two to four days, it held up really well!

I’ve had it for a while, and it hasn’t thickened up.

It doesn’t chip easily on me, and it doesn’t pull at the tips – something that holds back Seche Vite from being my go-to these days.

Ultimately, the price point is awesome: $3.99. For $3.99 I can finish off my mani and be dishes ready before I know it.

This is my new favorite drugstore quick dry top coat. The second closest one would be JulieG Jet Set Quick Dry, but that one did thicken a bit over time, so Milani’s edges them out in my book.

Have you tried Milani’s Quick Dry Top Coat yet? What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts – do you look for the same things I do?
