My Introduction to Polish TBH

Disclaimer: Gift bag sample. See bottom.

When I think about 2014, and my makeup and nail habits this year, it’s definitely been the year of discovering new indie brands.

One of the brands I tried for the first time this year is Polish TBH!

Polish TBH is one of the brands that came to the Sparkle & Wine indie event held in conjunction with Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas in July this summer!

I found Christian’s story interesting, as Polish TBH was started with fandom in mind – a love for Britney Spears’s Fantasy perfume line, and Harry Potter, for example! She said her kids have helped name some of the polishes, and that creating nail polish is a “great way to express creativity.”

I was able to try three products from Polish TBH:

Those products include nail polish in Eros, Cuticle Oil in Harvest Apple scent and a heart-shaped Green Tea and Ginger Moisturizing Truffle Soak (that got smooshed in transit from Vegas to NJ!).

Check out the polish and the cuticle oil!

Eros is a sheer-ish lavender jelly with lots of micro gold sparkle. There’s some random small glitter that is darker, as well. I used two coats for my mani here. I love the subtle golden shimmer of this from the micro sparkle! I don’t see Eros on the website at the moment, but the brand has plenty of other fun glitters, holos, thermals and beautiful polishes to choose from!

The cuticle oil is the perfect fall scent, reminiscent to me of apple baked goods. I love that the oils are offered in mini bottles, which makes it travel – and small purse – friendly! You can also order a larger size, as well – full size is $8 while minis are $4.

I really loved the Truffle Soak. It got crumbled in transit/storage before I used it.

So I took pieces of it and used it as a wash/scrub for my hands on a day that I pampered my digits!

I would love to purchase more cuticle oil from Polish TBH, and I really enjoyed the Truffle Soak – it is the perfect size for DIY manis and pedis! Polish TBH describes this product as a “cross between a Bath Bomb and a Moisturizing Bubble Bath Bar.” Love!

You can find Polish TBH products through the brand’s website here!

Have you ever tried Polish TBH? What’s your favorite from the brand?!
