Snow Day

So it's freaking FREEZING here in NYC.

As you may or may not know, we were hammered with a pretty nice snowstorm last week. So it's been a bit tough getting around. I'm actually really thankful I picked up these Dav moto style rain boots this past summer. I've never been a huge fan of traditional rain boots. I hate the knee-high ones and find it uncomfortable to not be able to get a full range of motion in your ankles all day. These moto ones are shorter, plus they don't look like rain boots, which I really love. I never even thought of using them in the snow until this past week, and so far they've been working great at keeping me nice and dry. Even while trudging through the 9 inches of snow we just got.

Also, I'd like to point out that after trying on tons and tons of jeans I finally found the perfect brand for anyone who has Crossfit butt and quads like I do. The Levi's Curve collection is great. They're a bit stretchy, and designed for ladies with a small waist but more junk in the trunk. I didn't even have to get these altered, which is unheard of for me in regards to pants. Especially pants that aren't leggings.
