Next “What Would Monique Say?” Podcast Topic: “Exodus: Gods and Kings”

I will be discussing one of the most boycotted, controversial, stereotyped, backwards movies ever, and the film hasn’t even been released yet. The movie: Exodus: Gods and Kings.

Many people are calling BS on this film, seeing how 99.9% of the cast are white, even though the film is about ancient Egypt and the story of Moses. Meanwhile, the slaves, guards, servants, etc., are all dark-skinned individuals. Hmmm….It’s all very 1960s Cleopatra, isn’t it?

Here’s the trailer, to refresh your memory/start your thoughts whirring, as well as some links about the outrage.
