Strawberry cake and headless lady

Piristystä arkeen! Tänään on ollut todella huono päivä, mikään ei ole onnistunut. Piristin itseäni ostamalla keittiön pöydälle punaisia ruusuja ja kyhäämällä nopean mansikkakakun. Ylijäämät mansikat, mitkä eivät kakkuun mahtuneet, putosivat tietenkin koirankarvojen sekaan lattialle. Eipä syöty sitten niitä loppuja mansikoita. Pyöräkin joutui korjaukseen, ja saan sen takaisin vasta torstaina. Kävellen töihin, mikä ei houkuttelisi ollenkaan. Olen laiska.
(Translation. Cheering myself up! This hasn't been a very good day. So I decided to cheer myself by buying red roses and making a strawberry cake. I am not much of a baker, so I bought a prepared base for the cake, and decorated it with whipped cream and strawberries. I didn't use all the berries, I thought I would eat them but I accidentally dropped them on the floor which is full of dog hair. No strawberries for me then. I also had to take my bicycle to the repair shop, and I will get it back on thursday. Now I have to walk to my workplace, and I can't stand it. I am that lazy.)

Ostin itselleni kirjakaupasta aivan ihanaa kirjepaperia ja kuoria, vanhahtavan tyylistä pergamenttia ja uuden musteen, kun vanhat ovat menneet huonoksi. Nyt kelpaa kirjoitella kirjeitä! (I bought myself some paper and envelopes, old style parchment and new ink bottle, because my old bottles have gone bad. I am prepared to write letters now!)

Meillä on olohuoneessa nyt myös päätön leidi. Creepyä. (We also have this headless lady in our livingroom. Creepy.)
