Good Morning, Friends!

I can’t believe it’s November! One word that sums up November for me is “awesomeness.” I know, it’s not your typical “gratitude” word, but it really sums up “life” for me—all things surrounding the beauty of nature, and the blessings of family and friends, plus a whole lot of extra blessings like health, a home, doing something meaningful in life (I love sharing with you on RE), being a mom and wife, and stepping outside of my comfort zone (yes, these are often blessings, because they stretch us and make us better people).

A catalyst.

I really think of entertaining as a way of bringing people together. I’m sort of a catalyst, one would say, of connection.

I like this role. It took me a few years after being married to realize that I was really good at it, and to relish and use these gifts. My husband learned to be a part of it, although at first he was more nervous than I was!

You may ask, How do you become a catalyst? I want to do something meaningful and host a table of really cool people!

Well, it’s not really about the “cool people” in town. At least we do not think of it that way
