RISING STAR: YVONNE JEGEDE

Born August 25 in Edo state, Nigeria, Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede took a long break from the Nigerian movie scene to Cyprus in 2007 to further her education. She hit limelight for her appearance in 2Face’s African Queen video as well as her roles in several Nollywood movies before her hiatus.

Blaze of Glory, Missing Angel and Tade Ogidan’s Behind the Siege are some of the popular flick which claimed her to fame before she went on sabbatical a couple of years ago.
