Mmm mmmm. Last night’s dinner was soooo good. And I have Annie’s Homegrown to thank!
I recently joined up with Team Annie’s, a fun social community where fans get special access to the world of Annie’s and can share their love for Annie’s delicious products (did someone say “Mac and Cheese”?!). And the best part? You can join, too! Just click the Team Annie’s link above to check it out!
So if you’ve been reading STSL for a while, then you probably already know I’ve long been a fan of Annie’s. Not only are their snacks fantastic (I’m lookin’ atchu, snickerdoodle bunnies) but I absolutely love their mac and cheese. They’re great when I’m in a pinch, and the fact that they’re so completely customizable is even better.
Typically, when I’m cooking up a box of Annie’s mac and cheese, I try my best to incorporate at least one or two veggies, along with a protein. So for last night’s dinner, I decided to add in some favorites (and a couple newbies) to create this Sweet & Garlicky BBQ Turkey Mac.
Ingredients:
Cook Annie’s shells and white cheddar according to directions on box. Toss cut up turkey meatballs in BBQ sauce (I also heated them in the microwave to ensure they were warm enough). Add minced garlic and BBQ turkey meatballs to mac and cheese until everything is warmed through. Enjoy!
*I recently made a slightly adapted version of this recipe for turkey meatballs for Lucas, but we’ve all been loving them over here. I’d definitely recommend them!
One lucky STSL reader will win a fun Annie’s prize pack, including:
To Enter: Leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite Annie’s product is.
I’ll choose a random winner on Monday, August 11th. Good Luck!
#spon: I’m required to disclose a relationship between my blog and Annie’s Homegrown. This could include Annie’s providing me w/ content, product, access or other forms of payment.
