Embarked on a Collagen Beauty Journey!

A few more days before I'm heading to Europe for two months and have been really busy with Klarra. Am spending most of my time ensuring that the next batch of designs will be on time and ensuring operations will still move on as per usual even after I'm off for the two months sabbatical, in a way. I suppose I will still be quite active on work with a computer around and I foresee my laptop will be by my side most of the time given that I'll mostly be alone!

Anyway, I've been having restless late nights for the longest time and every other day, I'd probably be outdoors for long hours or running about for meetings for Klarra or blog stuff. Not proud to say that my meals aren't exactly timely nor are they well and I've been neglecting my healthy, skin since… I can't even remember. The past few months haven't been great in fact.. probably three of the most taxing and stressed up months and unknowingly, I might have taken up too many things on my plate… Been getting comments on having tired skin, tired eyes, dark eye rings, tired-everything. Boo, really need to catch up on my sleep debt :(

i guess besides catch up on sleep debt or making sure I use sufficient/right products to keep the skin moisturized and supple but in actual fact, our diet plays a huge part in ensuring good skin! That's when I think we should take note of our food intake and at the same time, seek other means to improve our skin from within. The slim packaging is brilliant and from what I know, the collagen powder is usually stored in tins or tubs whereby one has to weigh and scoop during each intake. But with collagen powder packed in this form, there is no need to manually measure (imagine having to bring the scoop out etc) the intake and you do not need to transfer the powder out to smaller containers etc. You can easily bring along your daily intake (or even a week of intake which do not seem to weigh heavier than my iphone) – which was what I did and conveniently stored them within my makeup pouch!

So as mentioned, I stored sachets with me everywhere I go ever since I started and usually I've have it during lunch or tea breaks.

It's pretty amazing to know how soluble BRAND’S® InnerShine® Collagen 5000 Powder is (not too sure if it's that soluble for others, but I was quite surprised by this!). A need to stir it too but the powder was dissolved within seconds and what I liked about it was that it didn't have a fishy taste. Not an expert when it comes to collagen powder, but I tried my friend's collagen powder drink previously and was quite taken aback for the taste. I was actually quite concerned prior to tasting this but I tried it before receiving the entire set and thought it tasted pretty good – more of a cherry taste.

Now that i've mentioned cherries, the BRAND’S® InnerShine® Collagen 5000 Powder is made up of Acerola cherries hence the cherry taste. It's very, very easy to drink and I'm quite sure it goes well with most of my drinks – even just plain water!
