Today's quick post is another outfit of old favorites. I bought this jacket what feels like eons ago, and it's still hanging on to dear life. The fruity pants were a fun find from two Springs past, and I keep hoping J.Crew will come out with more whimsical prints. Metallic shoes would've been better to break up this monochromatic look, but I had left mine at the office.

I received these sunglasses as part of a gift box, never expecting to love them as much as I do. I have a fairly flat nose which results in the dreaded downward creeping of most eyepieces. For the longest time I wore sunglasses that rested on my cheeks, actually thinking it was a grand solution. It wasn't til I heard from my friend Ping that cheek resting is a recipe for wrinkles - eep! I was surprised at how well this style fit - they sit firmly atop my nose bridge leaving a small gap above my cheeks (except when smiling...but I'll accept wrinkles in exchange for reasons to smile). The lens are sufficiently opaque, and the tortoiseshell print has beautiful caramel and brown marbling.

I've heard great feedback from those of you who picked up this Ann Taylor tote. The "foggy morning" color shown here appears to be sold out online, but the "Find in Store" button still lets you select it to search locally. After carrying this one for a bit, my shoulders tell me its a little heavier than last season's version, but hopefully that translates into greater durability.

We were lucky enough to "win" a plot (doled out lottery-style to those on a waiting list) in one of Boston's community gardens this year. Having grown up in suburbia with plenty of yard space, this concept is a little novel to me but very interesting. We couldn't even keep a cactus alive in our current home, so we're hoping a little natural sun and soil will help us redeem ourselves.
