Ikat Pants for a chic look ~ Today's look #57

Looking back on my outfit posts over the last 2 years, I realized that I have been gravitating heavily towards ethnic wear with western sensibilities in the past few years. My wardrobe is full of Anokhi's and Soma's ethnic printed palazzoes, tops, Dhoti pants, dresses & skirts . Does it say something on the direction of my style sensibilities??
Anyways, I fell in love with Anuradha Ramam's Ikat Pants as soon as I spotted them in her store. Not only they were in some very lovely & different patterns, they fit me like a dream. The cherry on top was that in addition to the pants on the rack, I could get myself custom made pants choosing from the ikat fabric patterns available at the same price. I got myself a white grey ikat pant made and have been wearing it for some time now. They look chic and can be worn for both formal (read office) and informal wear. Here's me wearing it on a very tiring weekend of running errands.

The eason I have cut off my head is that my face looks dead tired!!! While I dressed up well, my face wasn't just looking the part. So just drool at those lovely Ikat pants!!
