Sweater Weather

Well, it's officially that time of year again. I've fallen down a rabbit-hole of complete and utter sweater obsession. Screw jackets and skirts and boots — I just want big, cozy, super-soft sweaters — the kind that make you want to curl up in front of a fire and sip hot apple cider. Delicious on so many levels.

So that's exactly what I've been collecting over the last couple months. In the upper left corner, you'll see my cream 3.1 Phillip Lim cardigan (similar style here); to its right is a cashmere, grey Equipment sweater; below that is a ribbed American Apparel sweater; and to its left is a black, raglan-sleeved Vince sweater.

Note the completely neutral color palette. I can't help myself. It's so easy to get dressed with these puppies in my closet. Everything matches, and my biggest decision ends up being which shirt I should wear underneath (blouse or tee?).

Despite their simplicity, these sweaters aren't totally boring. Check out the knitwork on this 3.1 Phillip Lim cardigan:

Waffle knit. Hidden buttons. Weird shoulder vents. What more could a girl want?
