Oscars 2014: Best Dressed – Jennifer Lawrence In Dior

Wearing: A strapless red wool crepe Dior Haute Couture dress, teamed with Neil Lane jewellery, black Brian Atwood shoes, and a Ferragamo clutch
Verdict: Jennifer Lawrence and her blonde pixie cut really is growing on me especially paired with this gorgeous red couture gown. No surprise that the actress wore Dior but I can’t have been the only one hoping for a miracle – no matter how gorgeous this statuesque dress is.
What I love most about this look, other than the peplum detailing, has to be the sparkling Neil Lane diamonds that she is wearing, which were reportedly worth $3 million. The necklace alone was a staggering $2 million due to its 100 carats of diamonds. What are your thoughts on the repeated necklace down the back? She did this last year to great effect but this year I’m not too sure.
One thing is for sure her hair and make-up was flawless and she was once again on great form on the red carpet and during the ceremony. Oh and if you missed her clumsy red carpet moment – see below – this is just another reason I want her to be my BFF. Plus all the haters out there saying she did it for attention – really – come off it.
