Haute Couture Week: 10 Wedding-Worthy Gowns At Elie Saab

I adore Paris Haute Couture week it not only brings out the most starry front rows but the fashion on display is always so exquisite and as always Elie Saab didn’t disappoint with his showstopping autumn/winter 2014 ‘Palais Des Lumieres’ collection.

I might have my two wedding dress sorted, which I love and can’t wait to wear, but there is still a part of me that would love to be an Elie Saab bride. To wear a beautifully crafted, dramatic gown is the thing of dreams and the finale gown to the AW14 show was a magnificent, divine and beautiful gown. I am not normally a lover of pearlescent white, but this dramatic and regal gown really does demand that it is the brightest of them all and I love it.

Elie Saab always produces delicate masterpieces that are exquisitely embroidered, they shimmer in the light, and each one of these gowns would make for a spectacular wedding. I love the sheer elements to some of the gowns, which of course I am sure you can get lined, I really adore the champagne gold hue it would make for a great alternative to white and ivory, and I love, love, love the short and flirty lace number, wouldn’t that just be perfect for an elopement wedding.

I have to be honest I loved everything about the AW14 collection and I can’t wait to see the gorgeous gowns grace the red carpet, but these 10 beauties definitely deserve a walk down the aisle.

Do you dream of being an Elie Saab bride?
