With the fashion week season in full swing it seems fitting to share the beautiful outdoor living area of the L.A. home of fashion photographer Marino Testino. His 1930s Hollywood Hills home was featured in Vogue US in March 2012. The house tour was also a fashion editorial featuring model Natalia Vodianova lensed by Testino himself. The original of the above photo included Vodianova but some cropped versions have been circling cyberspace, and I happen to like those better. They draw the attention to these red and white sun lounge covers instead of the garments worn by the model. They also highlight the lamps, the black window frames, and the décor. By the way, Testino decorated his own home without any help of an interior designer. He has used the opportunity when on shooting locations to collect all kinds of items and art, and he found the graphic covers in Ibiza.
