your next dollhouse might not be a house

Birdie has suddenly shown renewed interest in her dollhouse – and she’s been asking lots of questions about my old dollhouse too! It’s currently waiting for her at my parents house under a big tarp. She’s never seen it, and it’s been so long since I’ve seen it, I’m kind of curious to see what crazy 80′s wallpaper choices I made! I can’t remember anymore! I do remember that my old dollhouse is a very traditional affair without much room for the imagination., but I love it’s historical approach.

These dollhouses from Rock & Pebble feel oh so current in comparison. Quirky shapes, minimalist details, and handmade quality combine to form one-of-a-kind little homes just waiting for some young imaginations. I imagine fantastical fairy parties and circus acts filling their walls with memorable stories. Plus, there’s the dollhouse book for those of us who can’t stick to a decorating decision (I’m raising my hand on that one!) – you can change your mind with the flip of a page.

All of these goodies are designed by one of my favorite blogs: Mr. Printables. I love you even more now, peeps.
