FRESH/LICKS // Brave Radar – Message Centre

Fixture Records appeared on our radar through Homeshake, and we’re very glad it did – the Canadian label run by Conor and Tessa from their apartment in Montreal is definitely worth checking out. As it happens the two aren’t just busy running the label but are also active musicians with their band Brave Radar. ‘Message Centre’, featured above, is the lead track of their forthcoming eponymous EP, containing eight songs about cars, nightmares, and office life. The single runs only a little bit over the 1 minute mark and none of the other seven tracks are longer than 2 minutes making this melodic take on minimal pop a diverting delight.
