VISUALS // WOODS – NEW LIGHT

The prolific and consistently great Brooklyn folk rockers Woods released their latest album, With Light And With Love, earlier this year. By 2012’s Bend Beyond, they’d released five proper LPs in as many years, all just about equally good. Their latest LP release With Light And With Love took them two years different from their earlier krautrock sound the new record owes more to Magical Mystery Tour than motorik. For their new single New Light frontman Jeremy Earl’s sketches which featured on the band’s album covers, have now been animated by organ/piano player John Andrews in a mesmerizing video that gives life to Earl’s simple line drawings.
