‘Marnie’ is the second taster taken from South London band Virginia Wing’s debut album titled ‘Measures Of Joy’ which is due out on Fire Records in November 2014. The LP touches subjects such as anxiety and isolation in stark contrast to the superficiality many other current bands are caught in. Measures Of Joys draws influences from the radiophonic sounds of Broadcast and the kosmische Wunder of Cluster, with ‘Marnie’ impressing as a metronomic shoegazey post-punk track - a vibe which is perfectly put into visuals by Danny Nellis.
