Sofa to 5k



This was me, Sunday morning, fresh faced and jogging/waddling around my local park. I'd had the bright idea to start my 5k training after a pizza and cider on Saturday night when I was feeling particularly bloated but still motivated to get up and do something exercise like.
There must have been something funny on that pizza.
I added doing a 5k to my Goals list, never thinking for a second that I'd actually give it a go. There's dedication for you.
The first day was alright, my chest hurt from the cold wind but after I did it, I felt awesome and so motivated for the rest of the day - super productive! On Monday we went and did it again but for 5 minutes longer - it was a killer! I was sore as soon as I sat down despite warming up, down and stretching! Awful Awful Awful!
I think it'll be slow progress but I'd rather be doing it than nothing! That being said, the weather is going to get colder - again - and that's a bit off putting but I'll power through!
