Hur Did

People can often find going to the hairdressers a bit of a traumatic experience.
Firstly, I don't like looking at myself in the mirror for any length of time let alone an hour or more. Secondly, I find small talk intolerable.
So, to rectify this - I've left my hair to do it's on thing, give it the odd trim now and then and avoided the hair dressers at all costs.
But, when I first moved to Cardiff I went to Creation HD, and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I'm not faithful to hairdressers so it's taken me just shy of three years to return! But I'm glad I did.
I was met promptly at reception and offered a drink (ooh! Fancy!) Then the hairdresser asked what I wanted (to keep the length please!) I explained the trials and tribulations I face with my hair - heavy, wave, frizzy and just there. We discussed what would be best and off we went!
Things were going fine, until half way through I was rocked my crippling anxiety - What if I hate it?! That fear stayed with me until she started drying my hair and I could see the shape it was taking - which I loved!

The hairdresser put some layers in that will curl naturally on their own and give my hair shape, it's also not as heavy - Which I love!

I've re-booked for 3 months time, to get a bit of upkeep going and maybe after that who knows! I'll start going regularly or something! I feel that I should start taking care of my hair and having grown up hair cuts. Do I get a lollypop for being brave?
