I turn 27 in 8 days! 8 DAYS! I hardly feel mature enough to be officially in my "late twenties". Being a "mid twenties" gal has served me well, thus far. I'm sure 27 will bring all sorts of new responsibilities to me but until I come across them I'm happy to bask in my naivety and personal life irresponsibleness!
Overall, 26 was pretty good. I've got no major complaints, I look on 27 as miles away from how I feel. I always feel like an awkward 14 year old, I just know more now.
I remember when I was 21 and I felt people were so condescending and rude to me, people at work would mother be, I was an adult dagnabbit! I wanted to be treated like one! Now I look back on 21 and think - wow, I was a young pup! I didn't know as much as I thought I did! And in 10 years time, I'll probably look back on 27 and think just about the same thing.
