The official start of summer is about a week away and I’m ready for all the festivities that come with it. Taking the time to explore my city is definitely on the list. The Griffith Observatory is one of the most iconic and beautiful locations in Los Angeles and on this “June gloom” morning, I decided to pay my friend James Dean a visit. Rebel Without A Cause” (starring Dean) was filmed right here at the The Griffith Observatory. How cool is that? In a celebration of American icons and summer staples, I’ve partnered with Macy’s to show you how I style my favorite maxi dress. The great thing about maxi dresses is you don’t have to do much; they’re a statement piece all their own. Here I paired my dress with moto bootie boots and a metallic cuff to add a little edge, then layered it with a vintage denim jacket, because it’s always good to have an extra layer handy in LA.
