i heart summer

I can not be more excited about this summer! Damien and I celebrate our one year wedding anniversary in Laguna Beach this weekend, then we travel to Mozambique and South Africa in July for our honeymoon (finally!), then my producing partner Michael and I premiere our film “The Group” in August!!! Plus, lots of days off on the beach and maybe even some surf lessons! Why not? If you ask me, summer should be all about fun in the sun and resetting for fall. I think I still live on an academic schedule, where September feels more like a new year than January. Anyone else feel that way? I’m also making this summer, the season of rompers.
