All Spice Thai: Ordering from Menulog

I’ve been ordering from Menulog for years so was pretty happy when they contacted me and asked me to write about my next experience with them. I love those lazy nights when you don’t feel like leaving the house, so it was like the gods were telling me to stay in and watch the final episode of True Detective – the super intense TV show of which I understood about 45% of the dialogue.

Let’s be honest here, home delivery never really looks amazing. But what it lacks for in looks, it makes up for in comfort. Plus if I can remain in my paint stained Uniqlo trackies, then I’m happy.

I ordered a bunch of Thai dishes from All Spice Thai in Waterloo – crispy pork belly (because I’m a sucker for it), soft shell crab with chilli and basil and then some sticky rice with caramelised banana because why not?

Thai delivery is always standard, which is never amazing but usually good enough for your purposes. As far as All Spice Thai, they were better than your usual Thai delivery and FAST. You know when you usually order home delivery when you’re already hungry and they tell you it will be 45 minutes and you snack on everything you can find in the house until it arrives? No? Yes? Well, I do. Anyway, the Menulog SMS said 40 minutes and it came in 20. Amazing.

Thank you Menulog for the dinner! You didn’t need to win me over, because I was already a fan but thank you for the dinner and a tasty accompaniment to what was a very intense final episode of True Detective.
