J. Marx Atelier: Design Assistant Needed

I’ve got great news for all those aspiring interior designers out there. There are a lot of new things happening over at J. Marx Atelier and with all the craziness comes the opportunity to expand… that’s right it’s time for an assistant! I’m looking for a creative soul with a keen eye and an enormous passion for design. Must be organized, motivated, reliable, and resourceful, with an available commitment of 15-20 hours per week. Responsibilities will include interior design drawings (plans, elevations, furniture drawings, renderings, etc…) shopping and sourcing furniture, finishes, and accessories, assisting on project installations, research, and blogging. Must have his/her own computer, wheels and live in Los Angeles. Design experience is a strong plus. This is a paid temporary position through the end of December with the possibility to go long term.

MUST KNOW: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
