Glam Rock x Jem
I haven’t done a creative look in ages and I was itching to do something over the top today. I noticed Makeup Bee was doing a “Glam Rock” contest and although I’m not a huge contest person, this was all I needed for inspiration. I ended up putting a slight twist on it finding inspiration in my old favorite cartoon, Jem.
I’m not even sure if I can do a true breakdown of all the eyeshadows that I used but I used a lot of Sugarpill, Urban Decay & Inglot. I felt more like a painter than a makeup artist today. My patience was definitely put to the test today while trying to get my lines perfect. I also did a glitter brow using Glamour Doll Eyes Eye Light in Rave to top off the simple black smokey eye I did on my left eye. Not sure why I didn’t block my brow but I didn’t. Oh well….
