Chocolate Banana Bites Video

I love watching my kids learn and grow. Given that food is my passion, I especially love when I see them getting so much out of cooking themselves. I try to get in the kitchen with both of my kids as often as possible and let them get messy and create.

Sometimes my kids’ culinary experiments don’t exactly work out the way they intend them to, but other times, as in the case of Kenya and these Chocolate Banana Bites, they can really hit a home run. Kenya may be the mastermind behind the recipe for these sweet treats, but one day after school Chloe and I got to make them together in this Chocolate Banana Bites video. Watch how easily these frozen goodies (or not so frozen if you lean towards Chloe’s preference of thawing them a bit first before eating) come together. They make a fantastic dessert anytime of year but particularly during these hot summer months. You can customize them to suit your taste by opting for a different type of nut like chopped pistachios, almonds, or walnuts, or by using milk or various strengths of dark chocolate.

So watch this video and then go get in the kitchen with your kids to make these Chocolate Banana Bites. Don’t be afraid to make a little bit of a mess because I promise you that you’ll have a blast and that the end product is something ridiculously delicious!
