Get Emma Stone’s Hair & Makeup Look at 2014 MET Gala!

Emma Stone looked uber fresh and cute at the 2014 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala in a two-toned Thakoon dress with a tousled braid and bronzed eye look. Get the exact look after the jump!

For a very light sun-kissed look, Chanel Celebrity Makeup Artist Rachel Goodwin first prepped the skin with Chanel Le Jour de Chanel then applied Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Smooth-Effect Makeup SPF 15 in Beige 30 and added Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator in Peach Light to the cheeks. On the eyes, Mara blended Chanel Illusion Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Illusoire and New Moon with Revlon ColorStay Eye Liner in Topaz, then smudged the blended color below the lower lashline for a subtle smoky effect. Lashes were coated with Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara while the lips got a pop of color, courtesy of Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Cherish and Chanel Aqua Crayon Lip Color Stick in Rosewood.

Hairstylist Mara Roszak for L’oréal Paris created a loose braid with lots of texture. Here’s how:

Step 1. Apply L’oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It High Lift Creation Spray onto the roots of damp hair for dramatic lift.

Step 2. Spray L’oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Txt It Tousle Waves Spray liberally all over the mid-length and ends, and rough-dried hair away from the face to build texture and volume, while still maintaining structure.

Step 3. Once hair is dry, gently tease the crown for more height and backcomb throughout to build a solid foundation.

Step 4. Start creating the wide, woven style from the left side, moving over to the right, making a side braid. Secure the end with a clear elastic, and allow pieces to fall out loosely around the face.

Step 5. Spray L’oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray Extra Strong Hold Volume all over to lock in the style.
