A family Stay-cation

Honestly, our whole summer has been a stay-cation. We've taken at least one day trip a week, even if it is just to the pool or lake. I've tried to have a weekly outing and a daily project for the grand fairies when they are here with me.

But we were able to slip in one getaway, where we stayed at a hotel in Kansas City with a water park.

And spent the next day at the KC zoo.

It's not how far you go that counts.

It's who you go there with.
