Gap’s New Flagship

Last two photos via World Red Eye

Today is the day! The grand re-opening of the Gap Lincoln Road. Gap is such a classic in the world of fashion and Miami likes to do everything on a fabulously large scale. It’s only right that we have and amazing two-story flagship for our city. The store was designed by award-winning Miami locals Carlos and Jackie Touzet of Touzet Studio, Gap is the first retailer to deliver a new iconic structure amongst the historic architecture along the length of Lincoln Road.

Upon approach it’s hard not to be awed by the structure. The new Gap store boasts 19,000 square feet. The glass structure of the building allows sweeping vista views from both inside and outside. To celebrate the re-opening, Gap will be offering customers a free customizable tote pre-designed with Miami-inspired images taken by influential Miami-based instagrammers like @brianladder, @newteam and more when you make a purchase of $75 or more through June 22nd.

Join me in welcoming Gap back to the neighborhood: follow at http://facebook.com/gap & http://twitter.com/gap and use hashtag #HelloLincolnRoad.
