5 Signs You Might Be A Laggie

fter watching Laggies starring Keira Knightley and Chloë Grace Moretz, it became glaringly clear that I might harbor some ‘Laggie’ tendencies. But let’s clear up exactly what that term means, according to the film. In Laggies Knightley plays Megan, a 28-year-old woman who’s a reluctant bridesmaid dating her high-school sweetheart. When her boyfriend decides to propose (at her friends wedding no less) it becomes too much to handle for Megan and she seeks refuge for a week with 16-year-old Annika (Moretz), who lives with her divorced father (Sam Rockwell). The film portrays a laggie as a young person disenchanted with the direction their life is going. They began to regress and become a younger version of themselves. The laggie may move back home and ditch most, if not all, grownup responsibilities. Been there done that, right? Here’s five signs that you might be a laggie. You live at home with the parents and crash on their sofa.
