Directions:
1. Put three teaspoons of beeswax and two tablespoons of carrier oil (oils such as grape seed oil, sunflower oil or olive oil – they help to distribute the essential oil and create a smooth texture) inside of container or jar.
2. Heat the jar in a pot of water on medium-low heat until beeswax has melted. Carefully remove the heatproof glass jar from the pot.
3. Stir the mixture with a metal spoon. Using a pipette, add the essential oil, scents such as vanilla, grapefruit, peppermint or tangerine. Add essential oils one drop at a time, until the strength of the scent is to your liking.
4. Using the craft stick, shave off small amounts of lipstick and liner. Stir in shavings, one at a time, with a new plastic pipette until you have your desired color shade for you balm.
5. Using a new pipette, transfer the lip balm from the heatproof glass jar to the cosmetic containers.
6. Let balm sit for 20 minutes before using. Then store in a cool, dry place.
