Hoy con permiso de Cristina os enseñamos todos los detalles de la boda que siempre soñó. ¡Su cara de felicidad lo dice todo! Se casó en una preciosa iglesia de Granada dónde quiso casarse desde pequeña y su elección en Rosa Clará fue el modelo Mahón de la colección Two by Rosa Clará. ¡Fue un modelo recomendado por una de las asesoras de la tienda! Today with Cristina permission we’re going to show you all the details of the Wedding she had always dreamed of. The look of happiness on her face says it all! She got married in a beautiful church in Granada where she wanted to get married since she was a little girl. She chose the Mohon model from the Two by Rosa Clará collection. It was the dress one of the shop assistants recommended to her! We often have an idea in our minds of the dress we want but it’s not always the one that suits us best, this is why we always recommend listening to our assistants. They know which is THE dress!

¿En qué iglesia se celebró la ceremonia?
La ceremonia se celebró el día 5 de julio en la Iglesia de San Gil y Santa Ana de Granada, dónde soñaba casarme desde pequeña. Fuimos a elegir la fecha con año y medio de antelación ya que es una iglesia muy demandada.
Where did you get married?
The ceremony was held on July 5th at San Gil and Santa Ana church in Granada, where I dreamed getting married since childhood. We went to choose the date one year and a half in advance.
¿Dónde te preparaste para el gran momento?
Al principio dudaba de si vestirme en un hotel o en casa de mis padres. Al final, decidí prepararme en mi casa ya que les hacía mucha ilusión y la verdad que yo estuve mucho más tranquila. Fue un momento muy emotivo y familiar. Mi madre y mi hermana me ayudaron a vestirme, también vinieron mi maquilladora, y mi peluquera a retocarme y ponerme el velo.
Where did you get ready for the big day?
At first I doubted between getting dressed in a hotel or at home with my parents. In the end, I decided to get dress at home which made them very happy and I was very calm. It was very emotional. My mother and my sister helped me get dressed, my makeup artist and hairdresser also came.
¿Cómo y dónde encontraste tu vestido Rosa Clará?
Aunque vivo en Palma de Mallorca, para mí fue más cómodo comprar el vestido en Granada.
Antes, había estado ya en algunas tiendas de marcas conocidas pero no me había gustado ninguno. Entonces fuí a Rosa Clará. Ya había ojeado los modelos por internet y sabia los que me gustaban pero comentándole la idea de vestido que quería a la dependienta me sacó un vestido que ella consideraba que me quedaría genial, y de hecho así fué. Fue probármelo y supe que era el mío. Me siguió sacando vestidos pero solo me sirvió para corroborar mi decisión, el modelo Mahon ¡¡Era mi vestido!!
How and where did you find your Rosa Clará gown?
Although I live in Palma de Mallorca, for me it was easier to buy the dress in Granada.
Before, I found the one, I had been to some well-known shops but I didn’t like any dresses I ‘d seen. Then I went to Rosa Clará. I had already browsed the internet and I knew which ones I told the shop assistant and she brought out a dress she thought would suit me perfectly, and in fact it was. I went to try it on and I knew it was mine. I continued trying dresses on but that only helped to reinforce my decision, the Mahon model was my dress!
¿Qué es lo que te hizo decidirte por este modelo? ¿Era el vestido que siempre te habías imaginado?
Fundamentalmente era lo que buscaba, pero además tuve la sensación de que era el mío porque me hacía sentir cómoda, me veía guapa y en definitiva, era mi estilo.
Sí, ya que cumplía todos los requisitos: corte princesa, encaje en espalda y hombros, no palabra de honor.
What made you decide on this model? Was it the dress you had always imagined?
Basically it was what I wanted, but I also had the feeling that it was the dress because it made me feel comfortable, I looked pretty and ultimately it was my style.
Yeah, it ticked all the boxes: princess gown, lace back and shoulders, strapless.
¿Tu vestido tiene alguna modificación o preferiste lucir el vestido original de Rosa Clará?
Preferí dejarlo como estaba y no rectifiqué nada porque me gustaba, ¡Tal cual!
Sobre todo, me encantaba el toque tan dulce que le daba el lacito de la cintura.
Did you have any alterations made to your dress, or did you prefer to wear the original design?
I preferred to leave it as it was not modified at all because I like it as it is!
Above all, I loved the sweet touch that the bow gave to the waist.
¿Qué estilo de velo utilizaste? ¿De dónde era?
El velo que utilicé era también de Rosa Clará, compañero al vestido, un velo tipo amantillado precioso.
Which style of veil did you wear? Where was it from?
The veil I wore was also Rosa Clará.
¿Qué flores tenía el ramo? ¿A quién se lo regalaste?
El ramo me lo hicieron en ¨Nerine Arte floral¨, unas profesionales como “la copa de un pino”. Sabía que quería un ramo romántico y tipo bouquet, les dije las flores y los colores que me gustaban… ¡Y acertaron por completo! Me encantó. Llevaba peonías, mini rosas, hortensias, astilbe, viburno y ruscus aculatus.
El ramo se lo regalé a mi hermana Irene que la quiero con locura y ha hecho mucho por mí, quise tener ese detalle con ella. No se lo esperaba.
Which flowers did you have in the bouquet? Who did you have the bouquet to?
Nerine floral art made the bouquet for me, they are very professional. I knew I wanted a romantic bouquet I told them which colors I liked… and they got it spot on!! I loved it. It had peonies, mini roses, hydrangeas, viburnum and aculatus ruscus.
I gave the bouquet to my sister Irene I love her dearly and she has done a lot for me, I wanted to have that do that for her. It was not expected.
¿Algún momento especial o divertido que recuerdes?
Hubo muchos momentos, pero sin duda, uno de los más emotivos fue cuando Tomás, en vez de esperarme en el altar, vino a abrirme la puerta del coche. Decía que él quería ser el primero en verme y no el último y la verdad que fue precioso. Cuando me vió, rompió a llorar y yo solo quería abrazarme a él y no soltarlo.
Y como momento divertido, cuando entramos al salón saltando y bailando con la canción “Applejack” de The Triangles que nos recordaba mucho a Mallorca. Al vernos entrar así, los invitados se pusieron en pie y empezaron a gritar y vitorear con las servilletas en las manos. Este momento hizo que la gente se animase desde el principio.
Do you remember any special or funny moment?
There were many, but certainly one of the most emotional was when Tomas, instead of waiting at the altar, came to open the car door. He said he wanted to be the first to see me and not the last and it was really lovely. When he saw me, he started crying and I just wanted to hug him and not let go.
And a funny moment was when we entered the room jumping and dancing to the song “Applejack” by The Triangles that reminded us very much of Mallorca. And as we entered, the guests stood up and began shouting and cheering with napkins in their hands. This moment made people excited from the start.
En cuanto al vestido, que elijan uno con el que se sientan cómodas y sean ellas mismas.
Otro consejo que les doy es que elijan cada detalle de la boda a su gusto, que disfruten de los preparativos y, para el día de la boda, fuera nervios… ¡Que el día pasa volando y hay que vivirlo al máximo!
Do you have any advice for furture brides?
Regarding the dress, choose one that you feel comfortable in and be yourself.
Another tip I give is to choose every detail of the wedding according to your taste, enjoy the preparations for the wedding day, don’t be nervous … the day flies by and we must enjoy it to the max!!!!
¿Quién os hizo el reportaje fotográfico?
El fotógrafo fue Juanan Barros. Un chico joven pero un profesional intachable que supo plasmar en sus fotografías el día más importante de nuestras vidas de la forma más bonita posible. Gracias a su sutileza y buen hacer cada vez que veo el reportaje es como si reviviese de nuevo las emociones que sentí aquel día. ¡¡Gracias de nuevo JUANAN!!
Who was your photographer?
The photographer was Juanan Barros. A young but professional photographer who could caoture the most important day of our lives in the most beautiful way possible. Thanks to his subtlety and craftsmanship every time I look at the album I relive the emotions I felt that day. Thanks again, JUANAN !!
