Hola chicas, fans y amantes de la moda! La semana pasada tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir los Grammy latinos desde dentro. Participamos en el fashion lounge junto con las fabulosas joyas de Daniela Millan, SolFilippi y el joyero y estilista de estrellas, Charlie Lapson.
Algunas os preguntaréis ¿Qué es un fashion lounge o qué hace un fashion lounge en los Grammy? Muy fácil. Un Fashion lounge es un espacio en el que las celebrities van a buscar, descubrir, retocar o darle los toques finales a su look antes del gran evento.
Hello girls, fans and fashion lovers. Last week we had the opportunity to live the Latin Grammys awards from the inside. We participated to the fashion lounge together with the fabulous jewels of Daniela Millan, SolFilippi and the jeweler and stylist of the Stars, Charlie Lapson.
Some of you may wander what a fashion lounge is or what a fashion lounge is doing at the Grammys. Very easy. A fashion lounge is a space where the celebrities go to find, discover, fix or finalize their looks before the big event.

Ya sabéis que ir a un evento es un poco estresante. Todo el mundo te tiene que ver estupenda y guapa. Pero la apretada agenda de las celebrities no hace fácil tenerlo todo listo… Muchas pensaréis que para eso están los estilistas. Y sí, toda la razón, pero las estrellas siempre quieren asegurarse de que van a brillar, y les gusta dedicar tiempo a asegurar que están perfectas y no falta ningún detalle.
You know it. Going to an event is always stressful. You have to look wonderful and pretty. But with a celebrity lifestyle who has time to have everything ready for the big event? Most of you may think that this is work of the publicists and stylists… Well, yes, but stars want always to make sure they shine, and they like to take some time out of their busy agenda to make sure they look amazing and nothing is missing.

Así que allí estábamos. Rosa Clará estaba allí para asegurar que cada celebrity estaba guapísima. Sabíamos que las celebrities van a estos eventos con el vestido escogido. También sabíamos que nuestros vestidos de fiesta son tan bonitos que llamarían la atención de muchas de ellas. ¡Y así fue!
Hicimos una selección de vestidos deslumbrantes. Perfectos para la alfombra roja y para el baile posterior. Era una gala de premios para músicos, así que tenían que estar perfectas y luego poder bailar en las famosas after party. Así que seleccionamos vestidos como el 8T212 y algunos cortos ideales para bailar como el 8T302.
So there we were. Rosa Clara was there to make sure every celebrity looked amazing. We knew that celebrities go to these big events with, at least, their dress picked previously. Also, we knew that our dresses are so beautiful and astonishing that would grab the sight of most of them. And that was the case!
We picked a selection of glamour-shine dresses. Perfect for red carpet and dance ready. We were going to an award gala for musicians, therefore, they needed to shine and be able to dance at those famous after parties. So we selected some red carpet outfits like 8T212 and some short ones perfect to hit those dance floors and outshine everybody like 8T302.

Volviendo al fashion lounge, todo el día tuvimos cantantes, celebrities de la TV, esposas de todo tipo de personalidades, sus estilistas y agentes de relaciones públicas. Venían por distintos motivos: un cambio de look, un arreglo que no acababa de sentar bien, un problema con el equipaje… La voz se corrió rápidamente y enseguida atendíamos mucha gente deseando ver nuestros preciosos vestidos.
Otras venían a mirar las joyas de nuestros compañeros en el Lounge. Y siempre les preguntaban lo mismo: ¿qué vestido llevas? Puedo ver una foto? Y entonces: ¡magia! Enseñaban sus vestidos, miraban hacia delante y decían “Oh! Me encantaría llevar uno de esos vestidos (de Rosa Clará)!
Coming back to the fashion lounge, the entire day was packed with singers, TV celebrities, wives of, and their stylists, PR agents and publicists. All came for different reasons: looking for a different look, trying to fix a dress malfunction or a luggage tragedy. Soon the word spread out and we were packed with people willing to see our gorgeous dresses.
They were looking at the jewels of our partners in the Lounge. The question was always the same: which dress are you wearing? Can I see a picture? And then, magic happened. They showed their phones, look ahead and said: “Oh my gosh! I wish I wore those dresses (Rosa Clara)!”.

Celebrities como Debi Nova, nominada a la mejor canción Pop; Maity Interiano, presentadora de despierta América; Giselle Blodet, actriz; Manika, cantautora y escritora; Periko y Jesse, cantantes, entre muchos otros, vinieron al Lounge y se probaron vestidos y joyas y se hicieron fotos y cambios de última hora para tener ese look que hace que todos se giren hacia ellos en la alfombra roja.
Celebrities like Debi Nova, nominated to the best Pop song; Maity Interiano, anchor of Despierta America; Giselle Blondet, actress; Manika, singer-songwriter and author; Periko y Jesse, singers; among others were coming to the Lounge, trying on jewels and dresses and making pics and last minute changes to have that shining look that turns all views at the red carpet.

Estar en el fashion Lounge es como trabajar de médico. Te confiesan un montón de secretos que no puedes compartir. Tengo que decir que la excitación era tal que casi no pudimos dormir esa noche. Y además ¡4 celebrities escogieron nuestros vestidos!
El día de los Grammy fue una locura. Por la mañana teníamos que prepararnos para la alfombra roja. Teníamos que estar vestidos y preparados 3 horas antes de que empezara el evento!
Being at the fashion lounge is like working as a doctor. They confess lots of secrets you can’t share. I must confess the excitement was so big we could barely sleep that night. And on top of everything, four celebrities chose to wear our gowns!
The day of the Grammys was madness! During the morning, we had to get ready for the red carpet. We had to be dressed up and ready three hours before the event started!

Ir a la alfombra roja fue muy emocionante! Celebrities por todas partes, paparazzi, flashes y de repente, lo que nos hacía más ilusión: Maity Interiano llevando nuestro vestido! Ella es bellísima y captó toda la atención llevando un especatular vestido. Fue fabuloso. Esperábamos verla en fotos, pero tuvimos la suerte de poder verla en persona.
Going to the red carpet was extremely exciting! Celebrities all around, paparazzi, flashes everywhere, and then, suddenly, we had the picture we wanted: Maity Interiano wearing our dress! She is beautiful and got all the attention wearing a gorgeous dress. It was amazing. We expected to see her on pictures, but we were lucky enough to see her live.

Después de que todo el mundo entrara en el teatro empezó la gala. Fue fantástica. Entre premio y premio cantaron los mejores artistas de la música latina. La gente vibró con todas y cada una de las canciones. Lloramos de alegría por los nominados que ganaron. Entonces, por si fuera poco, empezó la diversión en las distintas after parties. Y la mejor sorpresa para nosotros aún estaba por llegar.
After everybody had come into the theatre, the gala started. It was amazing. Between award and award, the best artists of the Latin music were singing. The crowd vibrated with all and every one of the songs. Tears of joy for those nominees that had won.
Then, the fun begun (as if it was not good enough) at the different after parties. And the best surprise for us still was to come.
Todas las celebrities brillaban con vestidos más cortos. Un ambiente perfecto para nuestros vestidos cortos. Las alfombras rojas a la entrada de cada fiesta distinguían a las superestrellas. Y allí estaba ella: Manika, llevando nuestro vestido 8T207, con un enorme grupo de fans siguiéndola, parándose a la entrada de la fiesta más exclusiva para que los paparazzi le hicieran fotos. El vestido le quedaba perfecto, resaltaba su belleza y glamour naturales. Fue el comienzo perfecto de una noche de ensueño.
Los vestidos de Rosa Clará recibieron elogios allá donde fuimos. Todas las celebrities estaban orgullosas y felices. Brillaron como las estrellas que son. Fue una noche de glamour. Fue una noche de estrellas. Fue la noche de los Grammy latinos.
Every single celebrity was shining in shorter outfits. Perfect ambiance for our short dresses. Singers and dancers were mixing together. Red carpets at the entrance of every party distinguished the super stars. And there she was: Manika, wearing 8T207, followed by a huge group of fans, stopping for the paparazzi to take pictures at the entrance of the most distinguished party. The dress fitted her beautifully. It enhanced her natural beauty and glamour. It was the perfect starting of a dream night.
Rosa Clara dresses were having compliments everywhere we went. Every celebrity was proud and happy. Shinned like the stars they are. It was a night of glamour. It was a night of stars. It was the night of the Latin Grammys.
