New Hair Don’t Care

About a month ago I finally managed to take the dive and cut my hair! For almost 2 years I had been “saving” my hair to film a particular horror video you may or may not have already seen. I never actually intended to wait 2 years, but you know how these things are, “We’ll film in in a few weeks so just hold off” and a few months pass, “no we’ll film it next weekend!” and then a year passes and here we are. I was ademant with Toby that I had to have my hair cut before we left for Asia this year, I could not go on another vacation with butt long hair (there I said it!) When your hair is incredibly long, thick and wavy, it gets caught in -everything-.

After a bit of back and forth on which hairdresser to use, I finally decided to go with Mai from Maison Tsumiki. Only because all those years ago at a blogger event I remembered her being so friendly and gentle, and trusted she would do a good job Which I feel she did!

I can’t tell you how nice it is to have “short” hair again, relatively speaking. I think going forward I defintely want to keep the length of my hair anywhere between my neck and just under my bust. Long hair is great, and who knows maybe I’ll go back to it again, but I can tell you, I love my shorter hair

And just in case you were curious, because I’ve never dyed / bleached my hair before (virgin hair!) I decided to donate it to Locks of Love, so no my hair didn’t go to waste!
