Blogger Challenge: Capsule Holiday Wardrobe

M&Co contacted me recently and asked me to come up with a capsule holiday wardrobe using items from their holiday collection. The catch being it had to be under £100!

The items I have picked will form part of my capsule holiday wardrobe rather than being ALL of it. So here’s what I’ve picked:

First up I’ve gone for these cropped linen trousers. Linen is perfect for hot weather – its cool and light weight. These trousers will also be perfect for throwing on with a t-shirt and a pair of sandals for a day trip. Or for the evening with a vest and light knit cardigan. These are priced at a reasonable £35.

Next up I’ve gone for this kimono - great for throwing over your swimsuit on the beach or by the pool. Alternatively, you could wear it over a dress to smarten up for the evening. Again a reasonable £35

Lastly, no holiday wardrobe is complete without some accessories! So I will be packing a hat and a pair of shades.

I adore the shape of these shades! I will look funky by the pool in these and only cost £8.

I also love a trilby! Its my inner Carrie wanting to jump out. A hat is essenstial for me when in the sun. I’m fair skinned and burn easily and the hat will keep the worst of the sun off my head. No bad for £10.

So for £88 some perfect essentials for my holiday suitcase.

What are your essentials? How do you pack light for a holiday?
