London Fashion Week: Holly Fulton Autumn Winter 2013
Last season Holly Fulton stole the show for me, everything about her Spring Summer 2013 collection made me want to get on up and dance. The effortless hair and make-up all seemed so laid-back and easy to re-create. Roll on six months and she is back with more, and this time things have taken a very different route. Gone are the surfer babes of September 2012, the new Fulton woman has gone all sexy vamp. The latest collection featured strong red lips and equally impacting red backlighting which reflected the recurring pillar-box red lipstick that made up one of Holly's signature prints.
Alongside red lips and vampy leather jackets were whimsical illustrations of bears and tigers. These added a little laid back cool to the collection and tied everything in, to what is one of Holly's most wearable shows to date. The bear t-shirts are sure to be big hitters and styling them with over sized maxi skirts is something I am looking forward to doing come fall 2013.
