Tablet Time with the Galaxy Tab 3

For a long time I was that girl who always said "well, why would I need a tablet?". I have an iPhone which goes everywhere with me and a beautiful shiny MacBook, the perfect size to cart around in my bag whenever I need to. Surely there's no room in my technology-filled life for anything else? That didn't stop me from wanting to see what all the hype was about, so when I got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, I was excited to find out.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 from Argos, with its 7 inch screen and glossy white finish, which fit neatly into the black & gold studded case I had previously been using for my e-reader. It's sadly Wi-Fi only, but I'm never too far from a connection so it's not too much of a drawback. Unlike the iPad, it has a memory card slot so you can expand your storage space, leaving plenty of room for music, movies and selfies!

Like I said before, I was always quite sceptical about just how useful a tablet could be, since my phone takes care of all my app needs. It wasn't until I started to download some of my favourite apps that I realised how much more enjoyable the experience is on a tablet.

I made sure to download tablet essentials first... Instagram & Pinterest of course! As a reader of many fashion blogs, I like to mix it up sometimes and have a good nosy through my favourite IG and Pinterest feeds. It helps give me inspiration, whether that's on what to wear, what to eat or where to go. The Tab 3 really is the perfect platform for Pinterest.

If you're a bit of a shopaholic, make sure to download the ASOS app, which I could happily spend hours browsing (although I'm the same on the desktop site!). Vouchercloud is also great for scoping out discounts for a range of bars, restaurants and shops.

What are your favourite tablet apps?
